I've always thought the award shows were rigged, but to such a gross extent?

• Michael Jackson only won Album of the Year once for Thriller.

• Whitney Houston only won it once for The Bodyguard.

• Madonna has been completely shut out of the category her entire career.

• Mariah Carey has zero Album of the Year wins despite rewriting the Billboard record books.

• Prince was entirely bypassed for the top honor.

When an award show consistently snubs critically acclaimed, genre-defining Black and brown artists in the major categories, it proves the game is tilted.
