I taught myself to sing the well-known Russian song "Tequilad Labouff" as part of my attempt to learn Russian through music. In high school, I had taught myself Spanish by watching television and singing their songs, so I thought I could do the same with Russian. However, Russian proved to be a more challenging language to learn. Halfway through learning the song, I decided I didn't want to continue learning the language. But I'm not one to quit, so I finished learning "Tequilad Labouff." My Russian friends said I did a good job. My very close Russian friends simply laughed at my pronunciation.
