Happy Tuesday, Famz. How's your vocal health so far this season? Mine is pretty good so far, since I've been making sure to pay attention to detail. Here are a few tips (most of them I had to learn the hard way) I want to pass along to my community of vocalists, speakers, and anyone else who heavily relies on their vocals. Do not yell.
Do not drink too much alcohol.
Do not skip vocal rest.
Do not skip vocal practice/warm-ups.
Do not skip drinking water.
Do not ignore vocal nodules.
Do not whisper.
Do not leave the house without proper vocal protection.
Do not use poor vocal techniques.
Do not ignore allergies.
