Though I do not acknowledge the official Thanksgiving holiday and the lies surrounding it, I am still moved by the spirit of being thankful.
First thing I do each morning is write a list of what I am thankful for in my life while I enjoy my coffee and the morning silence. I try not to write the same thing twice in a month. And I only write about myself: flaws and all. Yes, it's a very selfish, all-about-me list. And let me tell you, it makes a difference in my day.
But for my Thanksgiving list this year, I have so much more to be thankful for, besides myself. I know, hard to believe, right? I would like to share at least 5 out of twenty things on my list. In no particular order:
Moxie's Midweek Martini
Bestie Brunch
My Rose
Cheat Meals
Children's Charity Events
I don't plan on cooking anything. Just as there is no "I" in "team", there is no "Moxie" in the "kitchen". However, I will be providing the wine, charm, and drama. What's everyone else's plans? Hit me up and let me know.
Your Teacher, Student, and Friend,
Moxie
