Firstly, I need to thank everyone who showed up. The love, the flowers, the dancing... I couldn't have asked for a better group of Foxys to spend that special night with. It was my first time back to the stage in over a year. I was thirsty for my Foxys, and they quenched my thirst. Check out my video above.
The "Adele Celebration" was a success only because of YOU, my friends. Despite the glitches with the sound, the vibe that filled the room was incredible. The poor soundman couldn't figure out what the issue was, as to why my songs wouldn't play correctly. I came an hour and a half before the show, just to make sure everything would go on without a glitch. And I even came the day before with a professional sound man to the place. We talked to the owner, all three of us triple-checked everything. But the sound malfunctioned anyway.
So we had to set up the situation, karaoke style. It turned out to be a karaoke concert, because everyone could see the words, and sang along. I was so grateful because even though the sound wasn't anyone's fault, it made me nervous, and it made my voice tight, my throat dry, and I was shaking.
Nevertheless, though things got off to a rocky start, the concert turned out wonderful. I can't wait to see everybody on June 26th, for the Michael Jackson Forever concert. Until then...
