The Lyrics are personal

LOL... Foxy, I am sure you know the lyrics for "Unchain My Heart" do not say "when you give a damn about Moxie." I changed it, because I perform songs best when I make it personal. "Unchain My Heart" triggers my struggle to truly release those I lost to the cult.

I've learned how to keep the pain contained and on a shelf. But I also know the opportunities to pull it out and feel the pain. Release it. Through lyrics, I am able to do this..

I must have lived the song in order to give it the best quality for my audience.

It's my duty to take my audience out of their world and into another world where their emotions are allowed to run free. And in order for them to believe, I have to believe. In order for me to believe, I must have lived the lyrics. So I must change them to fit my drama. LOL. Which is great because music doesn't judge. :)
